Far better to look at an LG project or a solar/wind farm to produce alternative sources. In addition, perhaps revisiting fish farming and/ or vegetable/herbs hydroponics could be worth the effort.
Great potential for prosperity... But it is a small beautiful island that may lose its charm in the move toward growth. What about the infrastructure? Power, water, waste disposal, roads? These have been troublesome for a long time!
A genuine National Hero! No blemish on his reputation. I admire his unselfish generosity, wholehearted commitment to our country and people without reservation and to his family and friends. Think about his image on a bank note as well as a statue. Ensure he is remembered!
Why are we surprised and angered? Just look at the verges all over our country...disgusting results from ordinary Bahamians, not visitors. Ever noticed a driver tossing trash out the window as he/she drives? Sometimes while children watch, so why be surprised. Wish I knew the answer to this vexing problem.
Congratulations to the schools, students and, of course, parents! The parade demonstrated national pride, and pride in school. It was wonderful to see the enthusiastic community turnout. We don't see that often in GB!
