Agree with Guy. No one on sick leave collecting disability from NIB should be allowed to get a paycheck. They are supposedly disabled and not on the job. If this practice continues I can picture employees faking disability just so they can "double dip." Time to "wake up and smell the coffee"

Agree with Miller and Davis 100%. Employees should NEVER be allowed to collect a paycheck and disability from NIB at the same time. If you are disabled and cannot work why be allowed to receive a paycheck?

In no way should anyone who is out on disability collecting from NIB be able to collect anything from BEC. I'm with L Miller all the way! Union reps need to stop acting foolish, possibly causing employees to loose their jobs.

Dr. Rollins is perfectly correct to say Bahamians should be treated as equals and not discriminated against but at the same time permanent residents and work permit holders are NOT Bahamian citizens therefore, should be permitted to gamble.

If you are found guilty of murder & conspiring to commit murder then who is the person you conspired with?? Something is not adding up here.

What did you really expect?? I agree what happened 200 years ago is not today's governments responsibility. Slavery is still going on in parts of the world today. Don't blame today's ignorance on slavery days. It has nothing to do with it. Focus on putting more emphasis on your education system. Get rid of the slum areas and illegal immigrants. Find better ways to make the Bahamas a better place to live....the way it was 20-30 years ago.
