She has mentioned a number of issues concerning Immigration and other issues concerning the Bahamas. As for the strain illegal Haitians and other illegals put on the Bahamians that is where the Bahamian government is supposed to control, which they haven't done in years. If they had they'd be no reason to be discussing it. Bahamians are always asking for US help with combating crime and here you have someone willing to assist you act like you don't want any assistance. Regardless, give her a chance to prove herself before you start judging.
I would not travel to Nassau to see any American artist to perform at a carnival atmosphere. The only person suitable living in the US would be Rihanna, she knows carnival. Beyonce may be a good performer but she does not know carnival. You'd be much better off getting Machal Montana, Iwer George, Sparrow or other calypsonian Then you would have a carnival. All in all though I would prefer you keep it bahamian!! Don't humiliatae them by making them feel you don't appreciate your own artists.
Why in the world would you want Janet Jackson to perform at a so called Bahamian carnival? She is not a carnival performing entertainer. Keep it Bahamian with all Bahamian culture. I could understand more if you wanted Rhianna or Nicky. At least they can do carnival music!!
