Excellent advise, does this include the politicians and their entourage that roam the neighborhoods asking for votes? How about the beach goers? Are they exempt as long as they wear masks and social distancing?
I suppose the police have more important things to deal with such as making sure your car is licensed and you have your seatbelt on. Is it so difficult to patrol the beaches? Will you put everyone on lockdown again just because you are so lazy and incompetent to enforce your own laws?
Yet the politicians and their campaign workers have no problem roaming around the neighborhoods . I suppose if you are a politician or you work for one you are immune to the virus and the law. For the rest of us a lockdown is what is necessary.
Social distancing, travel without any quarantine or tests, domestic health visas and lockdowns are for the majority of Bahamians. If you are a politician you can do whatever you want. Not only that but your salary and perks are guaranteed. The people's PM.
I do not know where these idiots that make up these rules live but can someone tell them that many family islands do not have reliable internet service,if they have service at all. So how will someone answer your questions every day? Also how do you know if they will be truthfull? Is this a stupidity competition, because if yes you are the champions
Just another example of incompetence, stupidity, and failure to realize how these decisions affect people's lives. They just can't get their act together,so they punish the rest of the population. I was talking to a family islander today and he thought i was joking when i told him the news.
As long as the emergency orders continue, and it looks this will last for a while, expect nothing better. The whole country will be run by one man,who will decide who can work and who can not, what time and day "you can be home or not. etc. All these decisions of course will be based on" scientific evidence" in consultation with "medical experts" But then again politicians will make sure their salaries will be fully paid with borrowed funds of course, that will be paid by the Bahamian public. The future of this country looks bright indeed.
You are so right. Yet even with the big hotels closed there were still power cuts. However BPL management were praised. The next round of applause will be for our politicians who borrow more and more,so they can keep themselves and their civil servants on the payroll. Also congratulations are due to the supreme leader for spending 20 million for sidewalks, and denying to many people to make a living, just because they can not get their act together
Nobody from the "contact tracers" has even bothered to call, let alone test the immediate members of his family. But then the "competent" authority and the "medical experts" have the solution to the problem. Lockdown for everyone.
