The team was not "heavy handed" or "aggressive" in their approach. Does this mean that people are supposed to be gratefull because no shots were fired. Did they expect the managers and employees of the business to shoot at them? Are you serious sir?
This is simply showing the incompetence and mentality of sone government officials. Showing up with guns for a tax issue. I also understand that a lot of businesses are receiving letters from DIR that are kind of threatening if the business is not compliant, although DIR has all the documents. I guess the slave mentality is alive and well
And this is coming from the same people that few years back erected billboards all over Nassau about the number of murders. I suppose they were more interested in getting power than the good of their country back then. And then we wonder why our country is at its present state.
Seriously, if the FNM plans to run to the next election they have to get rid of of both Pintard and Minnis. Otherwise really do not bother even contesting the election. You will be wasting your time and money.
If people stop patronizing Bahamasair, then politicians would have no excuse to keep spending taxpayers money to this disgrace. But then again Bahamians are just talk. Who will talk in couple of days about Bahamasair. Junkanoo is coming so the big national affair will be who won.
Politicians should be held accountable too. Especially since they are dealing with taxpayers money. Do you also support a disciplinary system for that also? Just asking
Mr.Pintard, when you and your colleagues were giving your former leader carte blanche to shut down the country,i guess you had not realized the damage you were causing to your party. Live and learn. Enjoy your newest defeat.
Good, and while you are investigating you might also want to take a look at your own department. I have heard that couple of fisheries officers in Andros are also have been in fisheries export business themselves. That does not sound right does it?
Every few months politcians and high ranking civil cervants, not to mention the army of consultants, come up with these ideas that if anything shows how incompetent they really are. Apps that do not work, confusion to the Bahamian public, and anything that makes things complicated, just to show that the Bahamas is moving forward. Wonder who came up with this idea this time and who got the contract with the development of this app

Shots fired at the parking lot of the courthouse. I suppose police was busy helping DIR to make sure businesses are paying their taxes.
