Sir Franklyn 1st Heads of Agreement Cotton Bay (stalled) Sir Franklyn Housing Development (Flooded) Sir Franklyn Oil Spill Unregistered American Vessel (over 500GT /100% Bahamian owned) Sir Franklyn Port Authority Chairman Lawyer at Arawak Homes Good Luck!
Ground Broken At Phase Two Of The Pointe Development
“The Pointe will include a **marina and yacht club**, 50,000 square feet of retail and office space, restaurants, upscale shopping and exciting entertainment venues such as a performing arts centre, state of the art movie theatre, nightclub and roof top bar”.( Tribune March 13th) Obviously; to spend borrowed money on a breakwater that was damaged from the 1980’s raises some flags. These Heads of Agreements that are signed in the dark; could very well sell the entire beach front along with advertisement, dredging and breakwater. The Port Controller is making a very valid point; APD doesn’t pay port fees and the breakwater responsibility was transferred to them when they privatized. Breakwater is a barrier built out into the sea to protect a coast or harbour from the force of waves and erosion.
