Many years ago a corruption smeared cabinet decided to give their leader a very very generous pension, which his spouse would inherit upon his death, to encourage him to retire so that the country could move forward. We, the tax payers, have been saddled with it ever since. But, it only applies if the Prime minister serves two terms in office. And this is why the Rt. Hon. Dr. H. Minnis has no choice but to try and become the Prime Minister again. Why is the truth not taught in inour schools? Is it because the teachers don't actually know it?

It is sad that many people are afraid of growing old, and even more afraid of dying. Why be fearful? Do you really want to live forever? Why, is your life so sweet?

Three armed robberies every week,
Shows that our Justice system is just too weak,
To deter the predators that live amongst us.
Them rude boys who live only to mock us.

Robbing and killing is only fun;

ThisIsSour makes undeniable points, as Sir Etienne wrote many time: "A people get the government that they deserve." This country got a D- gubmint that don't like statistics because statistics, them, involve numbers, and who wanna deal with all the rithmatamatics. Besides that; what form of government would recommend, Authoritarian Dictatorship? A communist workers paradise, also headed by an authoritarian dictator? The Swiss democratic model, but based on islands instead of cantons?

With regards to motorcyclists; the Bahamas suffers several score of traffic vehicle related deaths each year. A very small minority of these deaths involve motorcyclists and when they do it is most always the motorcycle rider, or pillion passenger, that is killed. It is so much better to suffer the occasional annoyance of a group of motorcyclists when compared to the insane driving that we have all witnessed by the motorists driving cars, buses, or trucks which actually sometimes kills people rather than just annoy them.

The usual definition of a legacy is that which is left to others after one's death; in light of which, this seems a little premature, aye?
