Three armed robberies every week, Shows that our Justice system is just too weak, To deter the predators that live amongst us. Them rude boys who live only to mock us. With the an AR15 Automatic gun. Robbing and killing is only fun; It’s sad that these were ever born, Our democracy's crown wears a bloody thorn. Crucified on political greed. Our courts are left in Justice need. The Church is also much to blame, For forcing births in Who Knows Name.
ThisIsSour makes undeniable points, as Sir Etienne wrote many time: "A people get the government that they deserve." This country got a D- gubmint that don't like statistics because statistics, them, involve numbers, and who wanna deal with all the rithmatamatics. Besides that; what form of government would recommend, Authoritarian Dictatorship? A communist workers paradise, also headed by an authoritarian dictator? The Swiss democratic model, but based on islands instead of cantons?
With regards to motorcyclists; the Bahamas suffers several score of traffic vehicle related deaths each year. A very small minority of these deaths involve motorcyclists and when they do it is most always the motorcycle rider, or pillion passenger, that is killed. It is so much better to suffer the occasional annoyance of a group of motorcyclists when compared to the insane driving that we have all witnessed by the motorists driving cars, buses, or trucks which actually sometimes kills people rather than just annoy them.
The Health care fund is an open book. Containing figure no one has cook. Doubters all come take a look. Nothing here no crony took. Now swallow sinker, line, and hook.
This inequality may be part of the reason why my three daughters no longer live and work in The Bahamas despite them having 7 degree, including a PhD Chemistry and Law degrees, between them. Our country's loss, mine as well.
Not only is Marijuana is a gateway drug and we must recognize this., but also coffee, tea, and chocolate. All of these should be criminalized and only available on prescription from a doctor. I am always surprised that some people still believe the misinformation put out my the US government in the 1960's when they wanted to send the young men off to the war in Vietnam rather than learn to think for themselves and explore their personal reality. sigh.
