This time Mills was not arrested for libel, insteadhe dified the court. As part of the conditions of his release, he was ordered not to make any additional posts about Mr Newbold as the case is pending.

However, police have accused Mills of breaking this condition and arrested him over the weekend.

Do we need a better reason for young women who have been forcibly impregnated with a child that they neither the want, or have the resources to bring up to adulthood, to have alternative options. Obviously the fascists and right wing Christians' will object on principle while offering no alternative. Hypocrites all.

The Bahamas has one of the highest rates of police persons per capita of population; with this truly shocking admittance of the failure of the Police Road Traffic Persons ability to enforce the most basic tenets of traffic enforcement perhaps the country needs 6 or 9 more Assistant Police Commissioners, and at least 19 more Superintendents, and 38 more Assistant Superindendents, to get the job done. Whatever we have now just ain't working, it would seem.

This will be good news for all the employees who will be working there as well as for all the Bahamian businesses that will benefit. The government made the correct choice whatever bombastic comments circulated by braggarts on social and other media, pretending to have the good of the Bahamian people as their motivation to gain some "Free Tings".

Excellent post, Sheetrunner; one of the several reasons that England pushed the Bahamas government into independence was because the country no longer wanted to be responsible for the Bahamas population. One of my chiilren live abroad; I lucky, when time comes I gone you'll, and the best of independent luck toyou who gotta stay.

Alicia is a brave young woman. She is ready to defy the approbation of Bahamian bigots in pursuit of her goal of a more righteous country. We need more like her and less bigotry, especially that bigotry that cloaks itself in religion.
