Religious leaders make bad politicians. Politics is the art of compromise; meeting people half way. Religion has no room for compromise; you either believe in what I teach or else I believe you going to have a very nasty afterlife, no compromise is possible. The lust for power is a strong incentive.

The sooner that we consumers have an alternative the better it will be for we consumers. Since I own no shares in the aforementioned companies so I could not care less about their profits. Hi Slickened; this is an opinion only. The Tribune must review each comment before posting to avoid legal action and to maintain their integrity. The Tribune do not have unlimited human resources. The Tribune there picks out the most tpoical stories to keep their monitoring under control.
This organization seems dedicated to advancing innovation amongst black people; that said, will their support be only extended to one segment of the Bahamian population, or will it be extended to all Bahamians regardless of race, creed, or religious affiliation? Inquiring minds would like to know? Also the cost to the taxpayers of course.
When you are competing for a political position with the person who most probably has orchestrated much of political troll posts for many of the past years, then you should expect a degree of social media abuse. Playing the victim card will not do this candidate any good as it makes her appear weak.
Throughout the whole history of our country no one has ever accused any politician trying to get him or herself elected to public office of telling nothing but the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Just saying.
