In all honesty I can not see a Labour Minister making such callous remarks, his remarks pushed us back 20yrs. Sometimes you gatta wonder if these ppl think before they open their mouths. I agree with Mr. Cooper, the Cayman Island is Prime example of clinching the fist on your Market. They boomed when the Bahamas signed the Bank secrecy act and many offshore banks packed up and headed for the Cayman Is., then they got greedy by putting a clinch on Foreign investors in forcing them to hire Caymans instead of ex-pats, they killed themselves with that one when Investors closed shop and left in droves. If the PLP keeps up with their present course of action of trying to fulfill campaign promise of putting Bahamians first we are gonna find ourselves in the same boat. I'm all for putting Bahamians first, but we have to do it in a non evasive manner, not in forceful manner. I agree with Stameko-Business does rund on results and NOT charity.

I agree 100%, I work in the downtown area and honestly I'm tired of seeing half naked women walking Bay Street. In muslim countries you can he jailed or stoned for stressing that way in public, I'm not saying we should go to that extreme, but there need to be some form or dress code. There are stores in the inner city or Nassau with signs that say: "No barefeet, No sunglasses, caps, or bareback." So why are women shopping the street of down town half naked with all their a@@ hanging out? If they're on the beach fine, but to walk into a jewelry store with barefeet sandy feet or with two piece thong swimsuits I find disrespectful and rediculous!!

On BCP wants dress code for tourists
