This isn't right. How did he get his plans approved without subdivision approval. Perhsps a Shoddy architect or contractor paid someone under the table to bypass the approvals required before building?5
Bahamian are just waking up to this bank's foolishness. I ditched my account several years ago when they started charging a $5 monthly fee just to maintain a savings account. Then they started charging persons with non-RBC accounts $10 to cash their customers" cheques never mind that the customer was already being charged a fee to maintain the chequing account. Everything with this bank is take, take, take. What kills me is the long lines of Bahamians that que up everyday to continue banking with them. When are we gonna wake up? Guess we still have sockets for punishment.
So he took the profits from one illegal activity starts another illegal activity, bank rolls two major political parties, gets the illegal activity regulated, does some philanthropy and this makes him exempt from being prosecuted for the first illegal activity because he is now an upstanding citizen?
As predicted I said he was stalling for the PLP to get back in because he knew they would settle. How do you continue to fight a court battle against a Government that's yours? Looks like he'll get his big payout after all. That's what the cronies live for so no shock there.
It’s a little too late to point fingers now. The horse is out of the gate. When he stood up after being appointed leader and Declared that the ‘Ingraham days were over’ then proceeded to gut the party by getting rid of anyone who supported Ingraham and opposed him, they should have realized the party was in trouble. Yet everyone sat by and let him run it amuck. I guess they were too busy singing for their supper and sucking up to get in with him. This man was a problem from the start. Pity it took losing an election for the party to realize it.
I have never been so happy to see someone out of power.
So it took dynamite (aka a landslide election) to get him out of power and now it will take another stick to get him out of leadership of a defunct party. Get a clue, Sir. Your time is up! Time to pack it up and hand over the reigns. The people DO NOT want you. You are arrogant, egotistical and that packed in with a whole lot of pride has caused your party the election!
Oh what I tangled web we weave…. And now the promises start. Minnis is grasping as straws and I sense a deed deep desperation because he knows his party and the Bahamian people want him gone.
He’s already shown us his belly. No amount of political posturing will fix it. His ego and attitude over the last 4 plus years have sealed his fate.
