Look at the bigger picture. The Government is trying to block Izzie from using the employees and their salaries as an excuse. He's claiming he cannot pay them as he is cash-strapped. Government says we will pay them so you don't need that as an excuse to declare you are bankrupt. It's not about the foreigners. It's about using the workers as a pawn to get the order stayed.
She did run for office in Golden Gates - and lost. I guess this is the highest up the political ladder she will go, leading a union. She's too shady, though, in my humble view.
I think he is an excellent politician despite whatever we think his sexual orientation is. Mitchell is an intelligent man. Unfortunately, Bahamians ain't ready for that yet.
I just got back from Freeport a few weeks ago and I was floored at the amount of abandoned buildings in the City - some of them huge two-storey buildings. They are an eyesore. There is a whole shopping plaza near the airport, although I cannot recall the name, where there are maybe three vendors still using it and the rest is just completely abandoned . The authorities really need to do something about it so I couldn't agree more, Mr. Christie.

She was "elected" many times because she got the teachers their raises which was all they wanted. What she did with union funds is another story.
