Interesting that the court does not agree with any of you "Reality" or "Enough" and that BREA is now the one with "egg on it's face". Interesting indeed!

And way to get personal Reality. I guess you know my BEC payment history which is very relevant to this conversation. Can you spell Jack(***)?!

jackbnimble says...

Yeah. Tell me why this woman's hand is in everthing crooked, sinister or reeking of corruption in this Administration? Common denominator in all scandals appears to be the DPM or the AG? WTH!

Reading this it sounds like the Board's new President is a little overenthusiastic as these harsher penalties appear to have started under her watch.

You know, in all things you have to exercise discretion. One should look at the whole picture first before bringing making such rash decisions. If a member has been in good standing for a long time and then suddenly missed a payment, I would think the Board would call the member first and attempt to get the payment, send a reminder letter or something before invoking the harsher penalty of publishing their names in an attempt to embarrass them into paying. Come on, it's not that serious.

I hope Mr. Smith gets his costs paid for the inconvenience - and my comment has nothing to do with his political past.

The actions of the Board just don't make any sense. Frankly it's a turn off for attracting any new realtors.

Going forward I hope that they think before they act.

Jezuz. What's next. Why is this woman in high office again?

jackbnimble says...

Clearly he has deluded himself into thinking he is a viable candidate. Jezuz. Are things that bad?? Please stay out to pasture Mr. Smith!

One vendor in particular told me that she did not even make half of her money back (and this was Saturday night). She also said that some of vendors were bragging that they did not pay for their stalls because of "who they knew" and also that the best stalls which were on the park belonged to some of the committee members. If this is true, it reeks of cronyism.

I understand the vendors got together and signed a Petition because everyone was complaining. I guess even the cronies didn't make any money.

Why can't we just be fair and treat everyone equally? But what am I asking? Clearly, the impossible.

Of all the people participating I felt most sorry for the vendors. Friday was like a ghost town on the Arawak Cay side. The majority of the crowd was on the Fort side patronizing the food vendors on the park where the concert was. What they should have done was have some early activity between 8 and 12 p.m. on the Arawak Cay side to ensure that the vendors in that area got some business. There was a big stage over there which was empty and if I were not a concert fan all I would do was walk around and leave.

The concert did not start until 12 midnight when most of the vendors on Arawak Cay were packing up.

Secondly, there was just too many vendors and most of them were selling the same thing (fish, chicken and fritters) which would be found cheaper at the Fish Fry. Organisers should have used less vendors and ensure that they had more variety in their food.

Frankly I think they should give them their money back.

No shock here. You can say what you like about the PLP, they sure do look out for themselves and their cronies.

jackbnimble says...

Great idea! Everyone with their power off during the relays should gather outside the stadium and carry on dead bad. Embarrass the hell out of the Government.

I mean, what is that to say? You are cutting off paying customers so that the country would look good to the visiting foreigners? Some people just don't know what the hell to say!

jackbnimble says...

I agree. Our founding fathers had no idea we would be overrun by these people who would use it as a loophole to enter our country illegally and demand to be registered because they were born here. As you can see, we are now paying the cost.
