Nobody will ever be forced to resign or be fired no matter how blatant the political crime - certainly not under Christie's administration (of course this with the exception of the "fall guy" for the LOI, Wells). The bigger the "ka-huna" (Mother Pratt, Gray, etc.) the bigger the cover up. No shock here.
She cannot get a "Haitian" passport because she has been here "all her life" yet she was born to "Haitian" parents whose constitution says otherwise. You need to stop YOUR madness! The bigotry starts with the sense of entitlement to anything when you haven't gone about it the right way.
In my mind this was always about replicating the Trinidadian carnival. The PM said as much as he seemed to envy the Trinidadians' ability to draw an international crowd annually with their carnival and wanted to do it here. Watch the youtube video promoting it. A bunch of Trinidadians promoting "we" carnival.
This whole thing has been a mess from the start. Frankly, I am not shocked at this. It was never about our culture. I was always just about replicating Trinidad.
You have to agree that they won't be unmatched as theirs is indeed a very tough act to follow. no government in the history of The Bahamas could screw up a country more than this PLP Government. Shameless.
All kinda new taxes. All kinda job losses. All kinda people losing their jobs so they can't pay their taxes. A depressed economy and a depressed people - makes a great combination. Great work Government. Keep it up.
We're talking about spineless Perry Christie here. Why are you shocked? Has he ever "fired" anyone for wrongdoing? They always somehow agree to step down. Hmph!
Isn't this the second incident in which the Minister was caught "with his pants down" - the first, of course, being literally? I recall that he also declared his innocence in that case and threatened to file a Writ which, of course, never found it's way to court.... hmmmmm.
