He's clearly deluded. They didn't want him in St. Cecila. Why would they want him in Ft. Charlotte? In a way, I hope Rollins does resign (although I can't see that he will) just for the thrill of watching the PLP lose a seat and to wake them up to the reality that the Bahamian people are tired.
Do you know how they "rushed" it? By tabling the bill for VAT at the same time that they tabled the Bills for the Constitutional Amendments. While the public was in an uproar over the Constitutional Bills (which was probably set up as the distraction), they simply went ahead and debated VAT. We never knew what hit us. We were too distracted.
Boy, I gatta give it to the PLP. They know how to work the system.

Prima facie, yes citizenship is not automatic. But outside of any national security issues, you can apply as a foreigner and will likely get it especially if it is entrenched in the Constitution. They cannot deny you.
Boy Rollins, I guess it's just a matter of time. I applaud you, though, for standing up but I'm now listening for the fallout as for sure you will be gone after this. The good part is that you would be an excellent asset to the Opposition. They can use your fire.
He has no difficulty with the amendments. That doesn't mean he will voting "yes". I think a lot of persons had a difficulty with the wording. Now that the wording can be understood, we still have the right to vote NO.
Unwed Bahamian men (some of whom are just sperm donors) passing on automatic citizenship to their children? Jesus, the city will be full of Jamaican, Cubans and the like before we could say "AH!".
