Imbecilic followers of US protesters throwing down statues. Columbus is a part of our history like it or not. It is possible to celebrate both holidays together, after all this nation only has made up heroes! The real heroes have been relegated to the dustbin of history!
Actually failing to prepare for and then not passing exams is what can ruin a child future. We have decades of failed students without ever having had COVID-19!
Are you aware that 80% of those infected will have NO symptoms? Did you realize how much Bahamians were mixing up with mistakes made by gov't with panic shopping etc. Most in the capital have probably already been exposed and have some immunity against a second wave of infections.
We are also foolishly not testing for antibodies to assess vulnerability to a second wave, but any major surges will most likely occur in the family islands.

The most sensible way to re-open churches for services is to have outdoor services. The ability to transmit the virus is significantly lower outdoors especially if attendants continue to wear masks and are spaced 6 feet apart! Breeze can carry away any possible viruses expelled through singing or preaching outdoors, unlike having a service in a closed room.
The police are the products of a society filled with broken homes, a dysfunctional educational system, widespread anger and systemic ignorance where no one respects the law or others. Do we really expect better??
