… actually the government is forcing Bahamians not to comply by their idiotic and spontaneous pronouncements! Can you imagine grocery stores on Tuesday morning for instance!!
Of course governments should try to help out its citizens in these kind of situations, but they cannot spend the taxpayers money as though it is their own. Will the beneficiaries of the funds have to pay it back, and what are the details of that?
@CatIslandBoy... when a disease is spread by person to person contact you are not trying to save lives when you make a decision that causes panic and drives people out of their safe homes to grocery stores on long lines where they become exposed to infection. Can you not see that?
@CatIslandBoy… I hope you can appreciate that there is a vast difference between becoming a party leader and leading a country. They require different skill sets. The person who can become party leader will become PM whether they are qualified to lead a country or not, and we do not get to choose from the best because of the nature of politics.
… but while the mask makers are making their masks we on lockdown! When we get off lockdown, everybody will be running to the grocery store and water depots again with the masks they already have before the next lockdown, which can happen at any time. So who will the mask makers be selling masks to?
.. and there are those who believe Minnis is doing a good job with his erratic imbecilic decision making! Thank God this will all be over soon because due to his decisions everybody has already been exposed. We just have to wait and see who gets sick or dies over the next two weeks. Within one month things should have bottomed out and we can get back to work!
