... the unfortunate reality is that when you start making adult decisions you will have adult sized problems! The issue is not whether or not she should get some help (of course she should), the real question is what are people in her position willing to do to help themselves or to make life better for themselves going forward. Unfortunately, sometimes in life the best lessons are learned through pain!

… unfortunately its not about teaching, its about what a person values and students for the past 15-20 years show that they did not value education or moral values. Just look around! I have interviewed high school students who cannot write a proper sentence or explain what simple words mean!

@K4C... the father could be 13, 15, 17??? Judging by how prevalent this is in our society, baby making has to be the primary subject on the school curriculum!

Throwing money at problems never solved them as the national debt shows. This country has had endless opportunities to put itself in a better position since Independence. Both governments have turned this country into a welfare state, the people into tribal political factions and the Treasury into a kitty for the political elite. We do not have the mental muscle or discipline to exercise fiscal responsibility and plan strategically. The game plan is always to do what other countries do, NOT to do what is in the best interest of the country!

This is just more shallow talk!

**22** year old cashier with a **7** year old son in grade **one** (he should be in grade three) and a baby's daddy who does not help. Seems to be a common theme these days. I wonder if people see a correlation between their situation in life and their choices?
Money is a temporary fix, she has to learn how to make better choices!

… the point being made is that they are not giving any useful information. It would be helpful to know for instance where in Nassau these cases are or the kind of work these people do (if they come in contact with the public or not etc). Helpful info would be helpful!

Why do they keep saying no history of travel when it is already clear this is spread person to person AND the airport has been closed for almost one month now?

I would prefer hearing them say these people did not get it standing in a line outside or shopping in a grocery store!

The mentality that the government is "supposed" to take care of people is patently wrong! The governments job is to create opportunities that citizens are responsible for taking advantage of for their own betterment. Nothing politicians like more than people having to come to them for scraps so they can maintain power through learned helplessness!

We do need a social welfare net for those who fall through the cracks, but something is wrong is everybody falls through the cracks!

...people have been complaining about calling the COVID hotline complaining of symptoms and are simply being told to self isolate. Doctors can't do testing for this virus so their hands are tied. I know someone personally who was sent by a Dr to the ER and they were sent home without testing to self isolate.

@ Eve... if you have an Amazon Prime account you can purchase beer or wine through Whole Foods, have it delivered to a local couriers US address and have it brought in! Just confirm that the courier is willing to ship alcohol!
