He knows full well that the only reason he may stand a chance of re-election is that Brave Davis is too bull headed to remove himself from the leadership of the PLP. If the PLP could get rid of those ole heads Minnis would not stand a snowballs chance in hell!
... maybe some nonviolent crimes like housebreaking where you steal less than 5 items or stealing by reason of employment where less than $5000 is stolen and other such "petty" first time crimes should also be decriminalized as well.
I personally despise people who give a little with the left hand (so that they could boast) while they take a helluva lot with the right hand and EXPECT to be commended for it.
Few who get these 'awards' are actually deserving. This diminishes the esteem in which these 'honors' should be held!
... @DWW, the point quite simply was that if marijuana was so harmless those discharges from Sandilands should not even exist. BTW,its a pretty well known fact that eating sugar does not cause diabetes (the causes are usually multi-factorial) !!
... it was recently reported that almost 25% of those discharged from Sandilands were for marijuana related concerns. Zero percent of those discharged related to sugar consumption!
The Bahamas has long ceased to be a country that leads, we have become a nation of mindless followers of fads and trends!
The easiest way to create jobs in this country is to deport illegal Haitians. Getting rid of 5,000 illegal Haitians = creating 5,000 jobs for Bahamians!
