People go to African pharmacists (drug stores) and get whatever they want without a prescription anyway! Nobody regulates anything around here until there is a problem!

European countries built their empires on exploiting and oppressing 'lesser' peoples. Through the OECD, the EU decimated our offshore banking industries to ensure they could collect more taxes from their citizens at OUR expense!

The pittances we get from the EU through funding is nothing compared to what was lost in financial services and the Bahamas gets to become another market for EU products! Do we really win at all?

We need more of this. The middle class must grow, if this country is to survive!

... well there are more than enough Haitians here, maybe that 's why our economy is booming, crime is low, unemployment is low, government debt is a trifling $20 million dollars and the national grade average is an A . I guess you are right!

This is among the most unwise suggestions ever. A good education lays the foundation for the remainder of the students life, which is inclusive of their civic duties. Instilling the *value* and *importance* of education is the key (this should start at home), while promoting meritocracy in all areas of national life. The payment for doing well in school should be a more stable and productive life!

While I appreciate the sentiments, it appears Mr Pratt lives in a bubble or is cognitively impaired. It is impossible **not to see** the impact that decades of **illegal** immigration has had on the socioeconomic well being and culture of this country. It is hard not to draw a direct link between massive **illegal** immigration and crime, scarcity of resources in health, education, increases in government borrowing and corruption in the immigration and other government offices. Nobody really cared too much about immigration UNTIL it started affecting them directly in their pockets. People are now getting tired and are frustrated!

Loving care and concern for others has nothing to do with law enforcement, protecting our sovereignty or utilizing scare resources for the benefit of the **citizens** of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas! I do agree that we should pay attention to **how** we enforce the law though!

As long as 'Brave' Davis, former member of the most blatantly corrupt government the country has ever seen, remains as leader of the opposition, no one can take anything the PLP says seriously!
