The governments approach does nothing to allay the fears and concerns of those who watched people swept out to sea, watched others drown or crushed by falling walls or may otherwise still have family members missing! Surely they must have something of a body count even if all those bodies have not been ID'ed. It is they who are adding to the emotional stress of families by taking the approach they have! How can you have 50 dead with hundreds of corpses?
They need to start collecting DNA samples from living relatives who still have family members missing since at this advanced state of decomposition some corpses can only be tentatively identified by DNA!

So Trump does not have a problem with the Bahamas, but the criminality we have allowed illegal immigrants to cultivate in this country. This is a wake up call to Minnis to fix this immigration problem!

I am pretty sure Haiti has not donated one gallon of water or a can of sardines towards easing the burden of its own citizens in this recovery phase but he wants the government of the Bahamas to do what? No country has been more accommodating of Haiti's violations of our laws and sovereignty than the Bahamas, including the recent debacle of the Haitian embassy!
He should be seeking to repatriate some of his citizens in this time of crisis. Its what all civilized nations do!
Now is the time for our Caricom 'brothers and sisters' to step up and relocate some of our hurting illegal brothers and sisters from down south. I figure Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica can each take 1000 or more, the smaller islands can each take 350-500. Any takers, anybody?
