It does matter. God allows people to rape, murder and commit all sorts of vile acts, not because He is not God, but because He gave men free will and the right to execute that will. They will however be judged by Him for their acts. Most people fail to understand the correlation between good moral values and strong families and society, it takes more than just a strong economy and social programs. After all the Bahamas many of us remember fondly had more decent people, less crime and sexual perversion in it because of their moral values!
... we are not behind the curve intellectually, we must simply realize the obvious truth, our leaders put self interest and party interests above national interest. They are ethically and morally deficient and put winning elections and personal enrichment above national development.
Is is every voters business when it comes to the values of those serving in higher office in their country. A persons values influences their views on public policy which affects all, including my children!. So yeah, I want to know if they are gay, marijuana smokers, wife beaters, sweet hearters and everything else if they are up for public office! Then I decide who I will vote for!!
So apparently this is the first time some "senior" doctors have done an honest days work in the public system for some time and they are not used to it! Everybodys moaning and complaining, but whose thinking about the patients!
Its not complicated. The government pays for and maintains the public ward and the private sector (owners and providers of private medical services, etc) the private wards. Ever notice the difference in maintenance between public and private business places?
Can you imagine the precedent compliance with these ridiculous demands would have on other unions in this country? What they are doing should be considered extortion and dealt with accordingly!
