Dilly Tree, I am one of you... I see it as THEIR ( the Black Bahamian) problem. Rise above the ""attitude". We all need to live together (somehow) in harmony. Smudda them with kindness and it will come back to you. Lol

Well said DillyTree!

I have begged the BNT to open their eyes to conch beds being destroyed in Abaco for years now. It has fallen on deaf ears. I challenge them to follow through with protecting the Queen conch, instead of their PR people calling the Tribune to print an article with information that will never come to fruition. In my eyes, sadly, this organization has lost all credibility due to its current executive director.

On BNT promotes sustainable conch fishing

Thank you to the Carron family for your effort to help our children of the Bahamas. Bravo 👍

So whose pocket will THESE funds go to? How will this be enforced? It most likely WONT be. Is Government aware that there are many, many other bone fishing locations not far from the Bahamas where fisherman will fish, and probably NEVER return. Again, another sad move by an oh so short sighted Government.

Did Government or NEMA have secure locations for people to evacuate to? How were they publicized? With crime the way it is, home owners are so reluctant to leave their property. Can't blame them...

Oh, I suppose Katrina (2005) in New Orleans is not considered the U.S.?
