Dear Public Servant Mr. Pinder, you are wrong. Anyone in their right mind can see this. Why are we paying this buffoons salary, why isn't he on the unemployment line? Because he clearly hasn't a flipping clue. I give up!
Bahamians are undisciplined true, we lack the ability to think beyond ourselves and look to doing what is best for the greater good, we are selfish. We lack in testing and contact tracing, and we lack in Law Enforcement leading to all our social dysfunction. Finally we are lacking strong leadership, otherwise all these things would not be happening. Our so called leaders are incapable of understanding the true meaning of Ownership, so how can we expect the rest to have pride and take ownership in their own actions and ultimate fate?
I think we should take baby steps on this, definitely test for July and August! Watch and see what happens, people who really want to come, i.e. homeowners and people who vacation for longer airB&B will do so. Baha Mar, Sandals etc are closed until Oct, and airlines not flying here. So why risk it? Plus it's always quiet here in summer months. That way we keep our reputation as a safe place, and when people are ready to fly they will choose here first
Put the sculptures in chains, and throw them in the sea! Then they will be removed, tourists can still have there photos taken with them, the fish will have a new home, the statue is kept in one piece, they're not being destroyed, so the 'historians' and everyone else should be fairly satisfied, yes its a compromise, so what?!
Cs for Covid tests, Yes I'm with Dr Sands, he is right, Test everyone visiting the Bahamas, that virus is still out there. We will get more sensible tourists, and for longer if we test. (& safer for Bahamians) Its just the most sensible thing to do, safety first in everything.
Also. The powerstation at Clifton needs sound barriers, the new generator causing vibrations and noise pollution to surrounding area, and whist we are on about pollution, BPL also need Smoke filters on the chimney stacks, you should see the smoke spewing out of there.
what!!!??? “bpl had Bahamian workers down there and many of them had """"mental fatigue"""" working in that environment. They had to continually come back to New Providence to their families and also to regenerate, but they’re still doing the best that they can,” he said. bullsh!% How the hell do you think the people of ABACO feel, with nearly a year without power! !? FFS get real,
