If you do the "math" with the election stats you will see that "swing voters" basically "sat-this-one-out"with possible some FNM and PLPs! For example, 123,348 votes were cast out of, all things being equal, 190+ registered voters. This results approximatly 64.920% roughly estimated. . .since we are not given the precise data by the parlimentary record office. . .meaning approximatly 25% registred voters did not vote!!
The PLP won with its base!! This assessment can change when other information is presented to the public.
Moody had nothing to do with the fact that there will be no VAT cut. . .it just could not be done!! Mind you. . .if davis is wise "only for his base" nah. . .Moody gave him a good out from his unrealistic promise!! But as we can see from previous elections in this country, the masses don't reason that well. . .they will hold you to "what come outta ya mouth". . .not what the reality of the matter currently stands!!

So PM Davis should "just close he eyes" and do what "must be done". . .and to hell with the political consequences!!

I would like to see the official number as well. why not? It is not that I don't know how to obtain that data from the raw tabulations given! But it don't look good that they gave no total for votes cast or voters registered. . .but can give how many votes for each candidate!! What up with that?
