Yes, I agree don't get involved there, and then I say observe and be ready to have that same movement when it comes to police brutality here in the Bahamas your home town, police brutality also happens here black police brutalizing black citizens, it's not always white on blacks as seen in Mississippi. Police brutality is a worldwide disease worst than any COVID-19

All we need is every officer working on the beat when interacting with the public to have a body camera turned on and not able to be manipulated, every police car before going on the road to interact with the public is turned on and not able to be manipulated, then and only then will we see some changes. The police lie.

mandela says...

Exactly, and they would only take the black Bahamians phone, but let a white person record their brutality they would do nothing, they won't try and take their phone because if they think that white person is a tourist they seem to show respect and fear for the backlash, only when the person is black they want to intimidate us, and rightfully they can't stop anyone from recording anything once it is happening in the public domain.

So it will be fair to state that on June 15 Nassauvians will be able to go on our beaches or do we also have to wait for the tourist to come in and enjoy our beaches first and while we watch them swimming we will be wishing and have to wait until July 1st.

If the curfew breakers upon being convicted and must pay or go to jail and then also has a stain put on his police record whereas it will hinder them in any way their ability to travel or get a job would mean this Government is heartless with no soul and compassion. What is written on the record unlawful wandering during a curfew?

These are some of the injustices that make poor and hustling citizens want to protest, giveaways to the rich, and stick it to the poor.

mandela says...

The noticeable thing is police brutality also happens in black on black countries like ours, people being beaten with clubs at a junkanoo parade for no apparent reason other than police brutality and there are also other injustices that happens involving law enforcement and are swept under the rug, and like in all police beatings and killings like their counterparts in the USA the first thing they will say they acted because they were in fear for their lives. Police car cameras and body cameras along with civilians cameras are the deciding factors, when will our forces have theirs? At least these persons will unite, and have the balls and the will and are standing up and protesting for injustice. The big question is when will we?

mandela says...

When citizens are tired and fed up with the system that is meant to look out for and protect them do none of the above then these kinds of things happen. I hope our present and future politicians and leaders are taking notes.

Americans invading and operating within our shores during a lockdown and bragging, Americans shooting at our police, wow! what next,

Probably a bribe was in play somewhere.
