I like the powerful quote from Mrs. Cash-Bowleg "If you are prepared, how come you don't have what you need?" it goes without saying that this quote also applies to a wide variety of situations in our daily lives and in this Bahamas where we say we are prepared but don't have what we need.
Why wasn't she and her party tested upon re-entering the Bahamas after traveling to a known virus hotspot? The Government and all persons in charge of keeping Bahamians safe by making sure persons entering the Bahamas from outside the country are tested certainly fell asleep on the job and now we need a transparent explanation and an investigation into this tragedy which I feel did not have to happen if they had only done their jobs.
I think her message "it is foolish for Bahamians not to take the disease seriously. is powerful in that she has seen COVID-19 effects up close, closer than any RN nurse or medical personnel here would want to, covid-19 kills and when you die, you die slowly in quarantine alone, no last words or goodbyes. Bahamas PLZ take this virus seriously.
Don't the powers to be realize that for some persons liquor is essential, it's a good thing they can't shut down persons purchasing cannabis or we would really be in trouble, in times like these some people need some sort of comforter along with the Father's prayers.
Can someone who has been doing this, please explain how it works when going to the wash-house? do the customers stand in line 6ft apart outside to wait for the next available washer or dryer, or is everyone inside bunched up together like normal?
Yes, this is going to be a rough time for the Bahamas, may god almighty lay his hands on us, bless and give us faith, patients and his love to see us thru this most difficult time. Also god almighty find a way to stop China from eating, handling, filthy disgusting unknown wild animals that has caused not only this pandemic but every pandemic of late. (bird-flu, SARS)etc. To GOD be the glory.
We have more to lose and very little to gain if we are not prepared or take this virus seriously, we defiantly don't need to have hundreds dead to mummer to ourselves later that we should have taken this virus more seriously,
