Until any government go with war on guns like they do with drugs, until they do more Intel on finding and stoping the inflow of guns into the country, until society's and neighborhoods come together and try to live like one, the murder rate will remain high.
The same reason the UN made such a report on our affairs, just look at this, Bahamians are always getting the sh$$y end of the stick, I wish some foreign passangers were also on board to bring shame internationally, because that is the only way our jokey politicians and people who are getting paid for nothing would try and be accountable. Shame on BahamasAir and its 50th anniversary of being the same old same old.
There are three sides to a story, the accuser, the defendant, and the truth. I don't think that it was a hate crime. Bahamians and hospitality establishments owners are very tolerant to differences. I am sure this club owner has had trans people in his establishment before and this is not the first time. Web and internet influencers would do anything for attention, views, likes, and followers. In the end he/she win big by accomplishing all of the above.
I don't think he/she should have been beaten black and blue, so for the persons who did this, this is wrong, but I also don't think a man dressed like a women should enter a place where heterosexual men are looking and expecting to interact with heterosexual women, every country is different, tourist should inform themselves, because they wouldn't try alot of certain things in other countries that might be acceptable in there countries. This person should have stayed at the hotel where they are more tourist tolerant. Sorry this happen to you sir but people in different countries look at things differently and this has to also be respected.
