The situation with Mr. Bell is noted and does not arise in his being fired. Now Mr. Cornish's investigation, on the other hand, has been handed to the commissioner of police from the DPP, but the commissioner of police Mr. Fernander is saying wait, wait and just stalling, we have to check something else out before we can act on what the findings on Mr. Cornish are. Transparency in the police force and our leaders is a foreign word, a word from Mars.
The white boy was holding his own even after being taken down. He is lucky. If the incident happened as reported, these second-time homeowners must understand " When in Rome do as the Romains do" When they leave their homes and belongings and return to their respective countries their homes and belongings are at the mercy of the Islanders and with little to no police presence their best bet is to behave and sit small.
How embarrassing. This man is another Lanisha Rolle, Mr. Cornish is becoming a loose cannon, sit small buddy boy, two years in and you are already giddy with power. Ha, ha, sit small and stop being an "Archloc". Now no one respects you anymore other than being a servant, first to your constituency and then to the Prime Minister of the Bahamas. The way it is supposed to be.
We have a situation where the coroner's court state or brings injustice to light, if the only repercussion of the coroners is just to make a statement then why do we have or need a coroner's court? is it just to prove the police are at fault but nothing is going to happen? "we only want to let you know", and once we let you know everything good? Happy Independence third world Bahamas see you in the next 50 years at the exact same spot you are today.
How sad is it, that attending a function can cause death, and when a person is caught importing guns into the country they get light sentences. Finding and cracking down on the importing of guns is the only way, People in the possession of illegal firearms have them for one reason only and that is to cause destruction.
Persons who go out to bars and other publicly attended functions with a gun either in their cars or in their possession have a dangerous criminal intention in mind and the slightest disagreement or the most minor simplest thing will set their cowardly minds off, and the first thought is to get my gun.
