Well the Bahamas for sale, and I can bet the wealthy are just snapping up the properties, by the time (15 to 20 years) an honest young person achieves enough money to be able to purchase any plot of land on New providence they will all be gone and perhaps still out of their reach.
The Bahamas is nothing but a confused country, at one point they're allowing the rainbow flag to fly freely then the following month they're talking about our Independence celebrations being about a Christian message and eluding to the fact that we are a Christian nation, talk about being confused.
The police should not be shooting in the community willy nilly, it should not be, catch you at any cause, thank God she or her child was not killed, and had it been then what excuse would they have come up with? They wrong for firing in a community willy nilly and not even hitting their intended target, injuring and almost killing the innocent. It seems that the police are firing their weapons willy nilly, a citizen now has to be careful calling the police, even if a person is having a mental breakdown, and acting erratically can turn out deadly.
4 weeks no air-condition at the one and only major public hospital in Nassau where at least 80% of the population lives, and yet we can spend 20mil on sidewalks, wow! and to think our PM is also a doctor how embarrassing, disgraceful and shameful.
Why shoot to kill, why several shots when one in his leg would have stopped him if they wanted to do just that? I guess that was their intention all along to expire him, you don't go from wanting to help someone to firing several shots into a person wielding a cutlass when the helping person has a gun. Unlike a person with a gun, the cutlass-wielding person has to be very close to the other person to cause any significant damage, a gun shooter doesn't.
There are pros and cons to this, but for all the inconveniences this will truly cause to us, I truly believe now it will be harder for the employees of these agencies to STEAL. Now the monies that are supposed to be collected will finally end up in the consolidated funds of the Bahamas. Now it should be easy to be transparent and show the country how much money each agency is collecting on our behalf on a yearly basis. There should be an update every year.
