What is the purpose of the National Intelligence Agency? Why don't they do their intell work and find the importers and sellers of these guns? How can such an agency be touted that this agency could protect the Bahamas as far as intelligence gathering in cases of terrorist attacks against the land and they can't even stop attacks from within? The law is the law, why should a few be allowed to live, possess and own land just by illegally squatting on the land? If this is allowed to continue unchecked then where will it end? In the Bahamas, it is not Haitian of Bahamian descent but the other way around, Bahamian of Haitian descent. If a person is living in the Bahamas and considers themself a Haitian of Bahamian descent then clearly they are living in the wrong place and should be living in a shantytown in Haiti and not in the Bahamas

It would be a big step forward to eradicate shantytowns and much safer and healthier, most of the older Haitians and the ones smuggled in today come from shantytowns in their homeland, that's all they know and are comfortable with, you can take the person out of the shantytown but you can't take the shantytown out of the person.
