Yes, blame it on the rain, who wants to pay hundreds of dollars to travel to a tropical island and not be allowed to swim or enjoy the beach, that makes no cents and brings no dollars.
Well at least Bahamasair made some money on those very smart persons who had to go to their beloved Florida, flights moved from $150 to $940, and they say Bahamians hurting.
While the incompetent authority speaks about his power trip two-weekend lockdown, the nail to our coffin may be just days away by the name of Isaias. If Isaias makes land-fall we will be up S$$t creek and then we can also thank our PM for being locked-down before a hurricane without a chance to prepare.
Why would any visitor come to the Bahamas and can't enjoy the BEACH? Most stay-over visitors spend 4 - 7 days, now i understand why our students are doing so poorly in maths. Welcome to the Bahamas for 7 days and spend your entire holidays in quarantine ( 14-days )
Body cameras and Dash cameras in police cars when interacting with the public are desperately needed. The RBPF Chief says AUGUST 1st that is the 1st step. Wait and see.
Thanks to the incompetent authority, think on this, had you let us wash off our sins and enjoy what GOD gave to us, upon other things the beach on our independence day maybe, no most likely we would have been ok, but the father is showing you who is, and showing us who is in charge and it ain't YOU. Having people pulled of the bus, that is so degrading, most Bahamians won't be caught dead riding a bus, and the ones who have to is pulled off without warning just like the passengers at the Lyden Airport were treated, WOW, and then afterwards maybe a fake apology. WOW
This no second wave, this is the same first wave that was handled poorly after getting to week upon weeks without no new cases, had they not been so lazy and tested citizen returning from infested USA we would not be in this mess today.

How depressing just to see the PM's face, without even hearing a word or him speak, how depressing.
