I've been on the Superfast Ferry from Miami twice. I was actually there yesterday. It's a really great service and the beach is gorgeous. There is a lot of construction going on in the resort and it appears to be Bimini people doing the work. I didn't see any Latinos (and I know Latinos being from Miami)
1. One thing I do agree with is that there should be a 'free' service that brings people from where the Tender lands into town. Genting could be responsible for paying that operator. As of now there are only busses/trams to bring you to the Genting spots although you can rent a bicycle etc.
2. For the most part (I haven't been in the casino) the resort employees are from Bimini. They're all mostly very nice
I really hope this relationship works for the folks of Bimini and they embrace this new industry of Hospitality & Tourism. I like taking the day trips over from Miami Beach.
