How many governments, his own included, put people in the civil service not for qualifications but for party affiliation? This dude really needs to go faster than yesterday!
Interesting how one Minister makes noise that they have to send people home because there is nothing for them to do, and another Minister giving out job.
How can that be? Not taking anything from the accomplishment of Miss Bahamas, but maybe all these people need to go over to MOT since that ministry seems to have work there for people to do.
Sadly Cooper is just another short sighted politician who gets in power and loses creativity in thinking.
Like themessenger said, you don't spend millions on infrastructure with nobody there.
The wise thing for the government to do would be to look at 2 islands over a two year period and make it their focus to develop them. Then go to another 2 and so on until the major islands are fully developed.
Put UB in Andros. The Defense Force base in Inagua. Farming in Mayaguana.
These old tired speeches of one government opening up what another one built and you criticize the former government is tired. Get some vision.
