Amazing the spin that is put on it. When the FNM did what he is talking about he called it victimization. When his party, the PLP, dos it, oh it is the thing to do.

Same new day, same sh*t!

Is this the unity the PM talking about

moncurcool says...

Well, the promise of unity has already been broken as people from the OPM have already been sent home.

And before someone says that you need your people in there who voted for you, take a lesson from Nelson Mandela. When he was elected all the white people who worked at the President's office were packing up to go home. He called a meting and told them if they don't believe they can work for him and their country go home. Otherwise, stay, as they were needed to build the country. Mandela even made certain his security detail had blacks and whites. That is how you build a country. Inclusion.

Real leaders don't send home people just because they perceive or because they voted for another party. They use all minds to build the country.

Wow! Ginger Moxey who was with the Grand Bahama Port Authority as Vice President and created the mess in Grand Bahama and never open her mouth once to contribute to fixing it is now the Do nothing Minister for Grand Bahama. Just unbelievable

If last nights meeting left Kwasi Thompson in a stronger position to be leader of the FNM over Michael Pintard, then the FNM is toned deaf and has not learned anything.

Ignorance is never bliss. It is these die hards like you to one political party that is messing this country up.

If right is right and wrong is wrong then admit to it. Lies did not vote the PLP out. It was arrogrance and not being willing to listen to the people. The same with the FNM.

That is exactly what will happen and it will show clearly no new day and a government not willing to make the hard choices that have to be made.

But do not forget, the 2% reduction in VAT is only for 1 year.

It is amazing that Christie does not recognize that the snap election was not the primary reason people did not show up.. The choice between Minnis and Davis was the reason. No matter which one got elected, things would not get better but only worse.

The sad reality that so many people are ignoring is that the PLP said they would cut VAT to 10% for 1 (ONE) year. Amazing how people keep missing that. But like Malcolm X said, you been had, bamboozled, run amuck, hoodwinked.

The fact that Davis believes that people did not turn out to vote because of a so called snap election (which he was advocating for but now trying to distance himself from, always calling for Minnis to ring the bell) is symptomatic of the fact that he is not a leader, does not have hindsight, insight, or foresight, and does not wish to admit that the people did not want Minnis and they did not want Davis either.
