I don't class Minnis as a leader and have my critiques of him. At least I can give him credit of taking action when a discrepancy was brought to his attention. Way better than what Davis or Mitchell would do.
I am not saying that Rolle has done anything wrong as the facts are not out and I will not speculate. But at least he investigated.
The comments on this post convince me that we have no idea what we want in this country. Someone does something bad in government and when the party like the PLP take not action we complain. Someone does bad agin and when the party like the FNM calls for their resignation, what do people do? Complain.
I hate to downplay mental health issues, but something is seriously wrong when what is supposed to be done is done, and people complain.
If you think Davis would have done better, then you want this country to just implode.
Tell Davis stop that nonsense. Where was his debate talk when Branville was challenging Christie to have a debate before the 2017 election. I didn't hear a peep from him. Please stop with the political stupidity. the silly season is really starting too early.
Another reason for a FIXED election date to keep all this silliness from starting too soon.
Tell Davis stop the political talk. No way the party that he was apart of that introduced VAT to the Bahamas is going to repeal it. Ans replace it with what? All that talk is for the uneducated to make them believe Davis is going to do something, which the only thing would be to raise VAT even higher.
Even Davis did not back Fred claims. And this is someone people want to put in power to run this country. A man who will seek to lie and smear another person? Anything where Mitchell hand is in run far in the opposite direction. Those actions are Trumpian, and clearly a sign of one unfit for public office.
> Following this, Senator Fred Mitchell > paid tribute to Bahamian-American > actor, Sir Sydney Poitier who will > celebrate his 94th birthday on > Saturday.
So the PLP is trying to play like they into Sidney Poitier? The same PLP that Poitier protested by leaving the Bahamas until the FNM became the government? It si true that those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat it. Pure politics.
Now you see why we a backward nation. The MP classes us as a developing nation. So that why we keep operating like a banana republic. Here is a classic political who was in Cabinet and that is how her vision of The Bahamas.

Since when is awarding contracts to a sitting Cabinet Minister calls for resignation if the Cabinet Ministers has no part in the decision?
What policies were advance in the interest of Cabinet ministers?
While Minnis is not better than Ingrahm or Pindiling, he is running neck to neck with Christie, but way ahead of Davis.
