Sadly your argument doesn't hold water. A loan does not make you wealthy, you have to pay it back. Foreign reserves are not owned by the government, they cannot just walk into the Central Bank and take the money. And every bond is a loan that they have to pay back. All the lions show that the government is broke and has to borrow money to survive.
Additionally, the civl service which makes up the government is made up of middle class people I would think that paying them each month means the executive branch of the government cares about the working class.
The sad truth though is that this vision less leadership is better than what Philip Davis offers. Better for the FNM to dump Minnis and let Turnquest lead.
Oh yes we have plenty of proof. Just look at what he has done in representing Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador all these years as MP and his tenure as M minister of Works. If you are not able to produce in the little things, do you think one can produce in the big ones?
I don't know if you live in Abaco, but all the people who worked on the ground there said with the destruction to the power grid, there was no way for that to be restored in less than 1 year.
The reality is that if people had to live with what we in Freeport have had to deal with in relationship to power after a storm, they would learn not to complain about being off for 12 hours.
Why are islands that have no cases being treated like islands that have cases? Why lockdown those islands that do not have one reported case with the rest? I don't understand that logic.
The so called Convention Treaty is nonsense. The European Union has banned flights form the Bahamas. The US banned flights from the UK and Chine in the early stages of the virus. So that talking point about reversing who we ban because of the Convention is no so.l It was reversed no doubt because of pressure from the US government.
