For the government to even consider these proposals, is an issue.

This is a clear sign of dictatorship.

To seek to charge people because they choose to do better by providing their own resources in their own yard and not depend on government paltry service is ridiculous

So the reporter does an article on a comment from a former cabinet minister, and makes the above comment in the article?

Shouldn't that have been a question the reporter put to the former cabinet minister?

This dude clearly is not what this country needs for leadership. He has got to go.

If public financing, as he claims, is needed for campaign finance reform, then why was he so bullish about it as opposition leader?

This is the first paragraph of the article, but nowhere in the article is any evidence to support this statement.

Is the Tribune trying to incite some sought of uprising?

moncurcool says...

Absolutely.

What they are doing is only perpetrating the problem.

Amazing how gas prices are falling globally, but yet The Bahamas still has outrageously high gas prices, that are about to get even higher.

The minister cannot be serious right. Like people will stay away because the break away group does not rush.

Besides, I remember the Valley Boys saying as long as the JCNP was in charge they would not be participating in junkanoo. So maybe they need to stay away.
