Exactly.

I wish the JCNP would not threaten but just cancel Junkanoo.

But then the petty government would force everyone to pay back their seed money.

That is why government needs to get out of Junkanoo

Clearly the government is not being impartial if the matter is still being adjudicated in the court, and also if the JCNP is the one who oversees the parade.

Sadly, the speaker and the pm show what happens when you put small minded people in big positions. They reduce the position to their small mindedness.

These two people should never see the light of day in these positions come 2026,

As rightly noted, changing the COP does not solve the problem when you replace it with another one from the same high command structure. All the police high command should have resigned. They all sit together in the same room. And Davis and Munroe should have resigned with them as well.

So true. She didn't budge when it happened.

The Speaker is a liar.

moncurcool says...

If we were serious about corruption, no one in the present police command structure should even have been considered for COP. Being in the leadership, all of them are complicit.

How a glass of water protects her is amazing, if she is so much in fear of her life.

I thought Moultrie was the worst speaker we ever had, but this woman makes Moultrie look like a genius.

She is the overriding reason I don't even watch what goes on in that ghetto place.

2026 cannot hurry up and arrive.

moncurcool says...

Correct. Not even worth commenting on what he said.

Sadly, TheBahamas has never had an independent legislature. It has always been controlled by the executive.

Yet he allows BPL or whatever its name is to raise electricity rates that benefit the pocket of his benefactor the snake. Just unbelievable.
