The PLP had 25 years under Pindling and 10 years under Perry to bridge the gap of inequality and never did it. When Davis shows me he can bridge the gap of inequality in Cat island that he has represented for years with not one thing to show I will believe his word.

Yes, injustice is wrong and yes we should stand with the protest and the cause in the US. But until Davis willing to stand up and admit you mislead parliament about the insurance for BAMSI, Davis best keep quiet. Tried of politicians with political rants and not willing to stand up and do something.

First of all the Ministry should never issue this statement. Tell Bahamians to refrain from getting involved. How did they think the Bahamas came to majority rule?(effectiveness of that rule is another question) It was by protest. without protest none of them would have been in the positions they are in today.

Martin Luther King Jr. said it best, "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Only 1 question - Did the PM take the advice of Brent Symonette and take questions from the media? Or did he still run from taking questions? And don't tell me anything about interview with ZNS cause they don't know how to ask hard questions to the very people who pay their salaries. Talk about conflict of interest.

*Mr Sands was backed by Dionisio D’Aguilar, minister of tourism and aviation, who agreed that the timing was not right for The Bahamas to provide incentives and discounts given that it has a premium, high-end position to maintain.*

Are these people serious? We prefer to have the tourism product for premium hogs end people and the average bahama ian is not able to experience the product in their own country? This discrimination and catering to the elite has to stop NOW!!!!! Enough of this.

How do you practice social (physical) distancing when you sell the middle seat. I'm tried of people making stupid statement when in fact they know it makes no sense.

It is rather sad how this statement from rights bahamas is so one sided. Whose rights are they fighting for?

Most people at the detention centre are there because they illegally entered the Bahamas. There statement speaks volumes by remaining silent on that issue in context. Trying to compared the detention centre to the protest in the US is just unethical.

The media here in the Bahamas does not practice good journalism. They only print press releases for news. They should ask questions and do real investigative journalism.

@bonefish, you have hit the nail on the head. Our media needs to tell these people that they will only print these releases if they are allowed to ask them the hard questions.

Still waiting for the term limits bill for the Prime Minister and the fix election date bill.

*"Mr Cooper nevertheless said he was "very confident" that Bahamasair will rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that it "plays a vital role in Bahamian infrastructure" and is effectively "the transportation system if the country" in providing service to the Family Islands."*

Bahamasair is vital to the Bahamian infrastructure? An airline that has never once turned a profit is vital? More a drain that vital. Many local private carriers, who do not get the subsidy Bahamasair gets, are more vital to the Bahamian infrastructure.

Alfred was totally wrong. He overstepped his boundaries into the Judiciary and should have been thrown in jail.

Stop the political shenanigans and let's grow our country by putting country over party politics.

What investigation in Gray interference was done? Who relived him? You mean the people voted him out?
