The big problem with the junkanoo parade is it starts too late and there is not next day that is used as a holiday like christmas and boxing day. Who wants to go to a parade that starts at 2 am and with the long gaps know it won't finish until 2 pm? If they learn to get those gaps out of the way and start the parade earlier, tickets sales would move. Everyone is not in church.

On 40 percent of New Year's Junkanoo tickets sold

Clearly Branville is in a world out to see. Cayman Islands, which has overtaken us in financial services, has the exact thing Branville is speaking against. Every company that brings in a non Caymanian has to show a plan to train a Caymanian to take over the position within 7 years. Only in the Bahamas do we have our leaders who do not believe in their own. That is why we need revolutionary leaders and not recycled ones.

Ok, Tribune please challenge statements from people and not just report their insane statements without facts. The article purports Mr. Ward as saying “in The Bahamas, historically, we’ve had rates higher than they’re likely to be in 2020 even with this increase. It will be a case of persons deciding how to spend their money."

.
Please challenge him to provide the facts on this. When have insurance rates in the Bahamas even been reduced form one year to the next? And they claiming the rates going up next year but rates were higher before. he needs to prove that statement as it is clearly not factual.

I hate journalists who all people to say stuff and don't show where they challenge the statements. Minnis is reported as saying that when they came to power they made BPL and energy reform priority. Could the journalist ask Minnis to state what are the energy reforms he is talking about? Can't be those engines, they still on fossil fuel? Don't see anything big on solar energy or wind energy? SO please ask what are the reforms? I really want to knows and not be facetious.

The sad thing is the government can raise the minimum wage to whatever it wants, as it never has to work about debt or deficits. A private business cannot run like the government or it would be out of business. Maybe, the government needs to learn to operate like a private business. It can only spend what is has. Then see how they look at minimum wage.

That's why I dropped Cable Bahamas Rev service. It's garbage.

How can you say that you have $25 million in damages and not clear a deductible? This I do not understand. Something is missing here.

For one who was a former member of Parliament to believe that he could travel on an expired drivers license, even to the family island is ridiculous. He should be supporting the fact that they are doing their job and discovering what the airline checking him in should have pointed out.

On Commonsense was lacking on my travels

These are the ideas from someone who wants to lead this country? Pure politics. This turd really needs to go retire somewhere. He is worst than Christie.
