Why does the Minister need to attend a funeral? Is that in his job description? Or are we so backwards that we believe if politicians don't attend funerals then they are not working. Please. we need to move beyond this as a country.
isn't it amazing that Japan was half a world away and it was being watched by you the writer and others. That is the point. Advertisement. At least the BAAA had the vision to push to get it back in 2021 as nations are glamouring now for the Relays. Besides, full stadium or not, it is at least a wholesome outing for the family. How many of those are around today in our country. Looking forward to the return of the Relays.
Spot on Tetelestal. It is sad that the argument being used it since we know it is happening, even though it is illegal, let's just authorised it publicly. How does society continue to be civil, if just because illegal acts happen we say let's approve it? So cocaine is being sold, and we know it. Do we make authorise it now?
You are on point DonAnthony. Why should parents who are taking pains to direct their children in the right path, be forced to send them through a national service because you have other parents who shake off their responsibilities?
The problem is not the child, the problem is the parent. They are the ones who need to be put in national service if they cannot direct their child int he right way.
So we are suppose to celebrate the colonial masters? Do they care or celebrate what happens with our children? Sorry, but for me celebrating Massa is over.
Jamaica has a population of 3 million people, Trinidad has a population of 1.3 million people and the Bahamas has a population of 400,000. Based upon that, who really won Carifta? If we had a 3 million population, we would have been whooping with the medals.
For our population size in comparison to the others, we are doing extremely well.
