Let us not compare apples with oranges. This is GBPC, not BPL. Further, what is the corruption that is causing people in Grand Bahama not to be able to pay their bills.

While I can say bills can be high, we need to be factual and not just throw allegations or innuendoes. Yet, we need to take responsibility for our bills and stop trying to past blame.

While I understand the power charges are high, that still does not negate personal responsibility.

My question is why should government be providing repairs for people's houses? If you decide to build a house, then you need to take out insurance on it or to set aside money for repairs. Otherwise, don't build one if you cannot take the responsibility to upkeep it.

And this public relations government would make you think that moving vat on September 1 to 5% on some of these things is bringing relief. But they would never tell you that they raise the cost of living as when they came to office VAT on these things was 0% and they raised it to 10%.

Amazing how this government reduce things to 5% that was zero and call it bringing relief.

And jut like the taxis want the straw vendors to find other ways to get tourist to them, is the same way they need to improve their taxi service so tourist can choose them, and stop trying to have things reserved for them and push out the livery drivers.
