Asked how government will handle the inflation Davis points to shipping costs one one company that no ones knows about being reduced? Where is that company shipping form? What are they bringing in that will have a radical impact on reducing inflation costs?
Just a bunch of hot air being blown by Davis. Welcome to the so called new day government.

Seriously? An appointment that is just a cushy job for protection? Only in the Bahamas this crap can happen. Besides, shouldn't this be reason for him to resign his "ambassadorship"?
Congrats to our swimming team. A job well done. If Davis had taken the time to look at what our Carifta teams were doing, he would have been with the team in Barbados, and not Jamaica, Then maybe again, it may have been better not to go to Barbados, as our team in Barbados may have had the results of the track team in Jamaica with his presence.
Would be interesting, especially as the government wants to name sailing the national sport, and event we are doing nothing with on the international scene, especially compared to the swimmers.
So who is there to go to? I'm open to honest dialogue on the matter.
While I understand what you are saying, at present there are no alternatives. We need a real leader who will galvanize people towards a vision that encompasses people to believe the Bahamas can be better.
Who operates a business the way our politicians do? They bid on the games, and then come to the public with the foolish talk about not knowing how much the games will cost. Is that really the way we operate in this country?
And of course you will always have the blind party partisan who are so gullible to follow and defend such nonsensical talk.
Is this so called financial secretary really saying that? To boast about this and not have the intelligence to admit that there were a number of VAT zero rated items that also now attracted 10% which I am sure contributed to this "increase".
Yet with all the increase they are collecting off of the backs of Bahamians, as inflation soars, they cannot even give people a break. Slavery still in economic form exists.
So the insurance company submits a contract with prices that are double the cash price? And it magically happens that each insurance company submits the same price?
Sorry but something fishy about that. A visit is a visit and the price should be the same, whether cash or insurance.
Such a scheme disadvantages the consumer, who will reach a lifetime maximum in their coverage before they should, being charged twice the price, had the insurance company just given them the money to pay in cash.
