I think we'd all pay good money to see that, probably enough to pay down some of our debt.

Maybe he's angry because people like you keep telling him to get out of the country and to shut up and take all your hatred and bigotry laying down.

Instead of listening to his concerns, you just say he should have none because he's not a true Bahamian, even though he was born here and is a Bahamian citizen.

Bran hasn't even touched on the real conflict - just wait till we find out who is getting shop leases in the Pointe project. Ask Maynard-Gibson how many shop leases her husband and daughters have in The Pointe, ask Christie if his son got the pool contract for The Pointe.

The reason the government leaders are fighting so hard to help CCA is that their new kickbacks are on the line if they can't come through for the Chinese in the Baha Mar debacle.

The xenophobia in these comments is amazing.

These articles have the intellectual depth and writing skill of a typical Facebook rant. I'm not even sure how this makes it in the paper.

Are you serious? This is an article for The Onion. You are complaining about having to take off your sunglasses, while inside of a business. Are you going to go to McDonald's with no shirt and shoes and demand they serve you?

So much entitlement in this article.

So the agents are blaming VAT for raising the cost? It only raises the cost of the agents fees, the lawyers fees, and the appraisal and the rest is still the same 10% total. So that means you add 7.5% to 6% (real estate fee) 2% (legal fee) and 1% (appraisal and bank charges), which means you add 7.5% of 10.5% which amounts to 0.78% of the total price. Maybe they should be looking at other things, like lowering the real estate commission which is 4% in Canada and most of the US. Or maybe it's the fact that these real estate agents are telling sellers that their property is worth more than it is. Failure to manage the expectations of the seller leads to homes staying on the market because they are priced way to high.

Christy, Maynard and all can't go with plan. They all will have to risk their shop leases and pool contracts at the new 'Point' complex.

You're understanding of how a devaluation would play out is wrong. Also, your understanding of how the banking exchange system works.
