The difficulty for such businesses is the energy costs and packaging costs (duty is 40%) on such businesses.
So if you will sell sliced cakes or other baked goods the cost of packaging drives the sale price up signifcantly.
That is locally made jams and jellies are so expensive.
I admire people who give it a try selling baked goods door to door , but the margins, if positive, are very small.
