Are kids any more or less likely than adults to spread coronavirus? Most children who become infected with the COVID-19 virus have no symptoms, or they have milder symptoms such as low-grade fever, fatigue, and cough. Early studies suggested that children do not contribute much to the spread of coronavirus. But more recent studies raise concerns that children could be capable of spreading the infection.
Though the recent studies varied in their methods, their findings were similar: infected children had as much, or more, coronavirus in their upper respiratory tracts as infected adults.

Reminds of the movie Grease where the fellas mooned the camera and the senior mistress said the tape was going to be turned over to the FBI.
I believe MOE does mot want schools closes. But the private schools gave to be careful. People pay 500-1000 per month and will soon stop if children stay home.
People do not understant yet this is a more transmissible thing, and now they cannot have lockdowns.
Lack of trust in authorities plays a huge part. It was only a couple of days ago that they started using expressions such as "to the best of knowledge", or "the case is developing".
The medical community lost much of their regard by endorsing the lockdowns that caused financial harm to most people. People no longer trust their expertise.
