And, for those of you who are still planning to have a wedding, change your plans.
Save that 20000 dollars for the 10th anniversary.
Marry with the 5 guests in Zoom.
Have the caterer package cake slices in a beautiful box and have the guests pick it up from your home after the Zoom meeting, they can watch on their phone while parked outside waiting for their cake.
While I visited a private business, they were meticulous in practicing social distancing, which surprised me since that place of business was not in the health area.
OTOH, I had to visit a couple of schools just this week. In the first place, the hand sanitiser had run out and they cut it with water and I was grossed out, would have been much better if they directed me to wash my hand in the bathroom. At the other school, they told me to feel free to remove my mask in an airconditioned room, I declined, Tho we were far apart, as the air is just circulating inside there.
The private schools are always crying poor mouth. They get gov. Subsidy, school fees and pack 30 students in a room.
I can only imagine how much they are going to cry when they can only accomodate 12 in a room.
However, exposing children will contribute to herd immunity. Look at Sweeden.
It was the MOE that broadcast on tv things that were not aligned to the curriculum. The MOE also contracted some jamaicans to use their LMS with lessons not aligned to the curriculum.
The teachers had no menas to test those who only had access to the tv lessons.
She however, would actually consult her membership. The MOE is where the incompetent or insane teachers go to die, or those who get those useless DEd. degrees. They can never produce a single original ideas for themselves, and could care less to listen to those who experienced the challenges of online teaching and what could be done to improve it.
ps. pe does have exams, i could pass those, but could never throw a ball!!!
