now I understand why the solar 'estimates' given are not firm.

they are not sure what duty and shipping and costs are going to be.

so they give you an estimate that tack on the difference later,

perhaps not their fault, but , i am not getting any solar system sorry.

the water heater you can turn on and off, but the fridge is a hog and requires batteries. it is not cost effective to run a fridge on solar power.

It is not the businesses which cannot meet the deadline, but the govt offices.
in typical bahamian fashion, they throw the baby out with the bath water to punish those which did not pay on time.

reminds me of the t-shirt school days. you were supposed to bring a dollar by friday to wear the t-shirt. no one met the deadline, so what do they do, extend the deadline.

easy just introduce a room occupancy tax which is waived for vat registrants. make it equal to vat.

they aint importing nothing, they are using a broker overseas to sell their product that is all.

often these attacks happen by people who lurk in the neighbourhood by doing construction/yard work in the same house or vicinity and therefore learn how and when it is convenient to invade the home and attack the victim.

if they wish not to phisically harm the victim, they learn when they they are not at home or traveling.
