In 1992, my father was in a remote country and needed a blood sugar monitor. So I bought one and put it in a package. It never arrived and the post office in a 3rd world country confirmed with the post office here that there was no record of it.
I went to the post office here and downstairs, the package which I had paid 35 dollars to send was sitting there on the table, I recognized it because i stuck a purple ribbon on it. I never got any money back from them, as i needed it right away. I went to Fedex next to the Central Bank and paid 60 dollars to send, and he got it in 6 days (Customs over there held it for 3 days).
Never sent any packages with them anymore.
Once i heard a man say it took them 2 years to deliver a fruitcake his mother sent to him. It was full of maggots.
my neighbour is the only man who watches lifetime TV everyday. I do know a few men who watch lifetime on father's day because that is the only day where the man is abused. On the remaining 364 days the women are abused and they cry.
YEP, they are catching up. I just received my insurance policy post marked December 7, 2017, expired November 22, 2018. Thanks. I drove all year without my insurance papers in my car.
well some people go around in clothing that would be best described as underwear.
people should know to dress differently to go to a nightclub, beach or government office.
i see some women come to an airconditioned office and start bitching about the cold. if you are that sensitive, carry a sweater. but no, they are so entitled as to tell the people in the office to turn off the air conditioning and likely post it on facebook. Can't take the jungle out of the junglist.
i think perfume is only 5% because it is a tourist product. china and porcelain are also 5%, and at one point used to be duty free. but ceramic dishes are 45%, as tourists do not buy it. cosmetics are mostly 35 or 45%, but they did reduce the duty on hair products to 20%, and deodorant is duty free
but it is almost 300 ticket fare to get to miami, and you likely have transportation and accomodation costs to get there. and you have to pay for luggage weight on the way back.
do the math, often it is cheaper to purchase locallly or order through a courier.
remember also sometimes people need custom sizes that the shops do not sell.
