well, i now compare prices, the girl at the courier said it might cheaper to buy here considering the info i gave her.
i wanted a freezer, i found it locally at 299 vat and delivery included. same freezer on amazon was 339+49 shipping then i have to pay the courier and broker to get it.
i also buy shoes locally because the courier charges kill the difference.
well cable could never make a return by offering internet in remote areas. there is a warped sense in the bahamas that businesses may capitalize losing ventures. there are areas in the US without internet, mind you. I know a man who travels to town to use the internet in the library.
BTC and aliv projections are a joke. they think evtryone is 17 years old and will buy 300 or 400 a month worth of data to talk crap on whatsapp. not so, even the 17 year olds will curtail that when the going gets tough and revert to squabblingling over the use of the family's computer.
while some jobs will be lost at the banks computerization, other jobs will be created such as in call centers and IT jobs. what happened to all the typists who lost their jobs? No one hires typists anymore.
i got caught in a kyc situation years ago, took a while to get the money back.
Now i have learned that there are deadlines when the KYC expires, so i ask.
Preparing to travel in 2018. i asked an they told me told me mar 2018, smack in the middle of my travel. they said i cannot kyc now. I went to a lawyer and drafted a statement concerning the kyc, all i have to add is an up to date utility bill, which can be sent to the lawyer by email.

the people did not stop buying at supervalue because of the vat.
they stopped buying because their goddamn prices became too high and because they sell rotten fruit.
solomons sell the ground beef at 3.89 per pound and supervalue 6.44, vat or not, this is ridiculous.
fruits at solomons are better but they reduced the size of their display.
and hardly anyone buys at fresh market harbour bay.with so called organic grapes that cost an arm or a leg.

RBC charges 16.13 for cheques but no per entry charges up to 4 cheques.
fidelity charges 8 dollars but something like 1.15 for each cheque.
fidelity also charges atm, but scotia and others gives you a number of free visits
often the total is the same
lower rate + per entry fee = a larger fee with some entries at no extra charge.
why are these charges different between banks. simple: there is no price control, it is not evaporated milk. OK?

well an envelope on bahamasferries from Nassau is only 4 dollars.
Bahamas air charges 23 dollars and GWS and Fedex even more.
A huuuuge plastic bin on the legacy goes for 6-8 dollars, even for refrigerated and frozen stuff.
It is a bargain.
