i got caught in a kyc situation years ago, took a while to get the money back.
Now i have learned that there are deadlines when the KYC expires, so i ask.
Preparing to travel in 2018. i asked an they told me told me mar 2018, smack in the middle of my travel. they said i cannot kyc now. I went to a lawyer and drafted a statement concerning the kyc, all i have to add is an up to date utility bill, which can be sent to the lawyer by email.
no they are not going to do that. They will discontinue all OTC transactions for non-customers.
This means that if you have an account you can go there , do the transactions you normally do, and if you are a customer, you can for example, make deposits into your relative's account.
the big problem is the FASdeposit being discontinued for businesses. If the messenger goes there and is not a customer, he cannot deposit the funds. The solution might be that his employer will pay him to keep an account at the bank.
well, i remember the days when i had to use several lunch hours to deposit paycheque, catch the bus to pay bills, mail payments and have them get lost.
i welcome the automations, including monitoring my credit card online.
I cannot imagine people getting credit card statements 4 months late.
then there are people who have loans credit cards and current accounts in different banks and run around town managing their affairs.

Business clients who have two or more siganories in the account DO NOT have atm cards.
The bank has informed me what options to these clients will be after managements meetings will be had.
I believe they will have one or more 'deposit only' lines to business customers.
The quote is a half-truth. So is the brochure they disseminated.
